· We have 4 cabins with 8 bunkbeds in each (16 beds)
1. You will need sleeping bags, pillows and a good foam pad or air mattress for the bed (they are wood). If you need something softer you might consider bringing a cot.
2. It might be nice to have a couple old camp blankets to put on the wood floors to sit on if we have bad weather.
3. There is electricity in the cabins so we could bring some fans if we wanted.
4. There are restrooms and showers a short distance from the cabins (bring your own toiletries)
5. We have a cook station with a fridge, sink and preparation area as well as a locked storage room and picnic tables
· Games, hikes, activities, canoeing, volleyball, horseshoes, Frisbees, etc. Feel free to bring along games that your family enjoys.
· Dinner – Rod’s famous Spaghetti
· Evening Program
1. Each family should come prepared to do a family skit (length doesn’t matter, that you participate matters) cuz it is so much fun J
2. Singing around the campfire (we will have the books) If you play the guitar, we always sound better when accompanied so bring your guitars.
3. If you would like to share a special talent during the program you are welcome to do so.
Saturday – August 8
· Early morning hike for those who are interested.
· Breakfast – perhaps a brunch breakfast
· Crafts, games, water activities, Ropes Course if we schedule it
· A late lunch as we clean up the camp site
· Renting the facilities requires strict compliance with the rules, which include immaculate cleaning of our site. They check our work and check us out.

2009 Family Reunion
We have reserved the Heber Girls Camp for August 7 - 8, 2009. You know how girls camps are, we have to bring in the things we need, like bedding, cooking stuff, things to do, etc. We haven't planned the days before or after, but as soon as we get that far we will post it. We reserved a whole group of cabins so everyone will fit. The Cooking facility is like a Chef's kitchen so cooking is going to be great.

Well that didn't work out very Well!
Perhaps I can explain the map a bit. When you get to Mack's Inn you will continue driving over the river and turn right at the first road. Take the fork to the right (Ruby Lane) and follow it to (probably) Buffalo and turn left. Heading North take the fork to the right that should be Mulberry Lane. The cabin is at the end of the lane. There is a large open entrance to the cabin. There are 2 other cabins to the east of our cabin.

Walker Family Reunion July 22nd - 26th
I meant to have this out to everyone on Monday and I had it all ready to paste into the blog on Monday but there was an emergency at Rod's Mother's house. His sister Kandee had passed away in her sleep. Sooooooo . . . . I'm here at work at10:00 on Tuesday night getting one thing off of my check list. I will put a map to the cabin next week. It is across the river north of Mack's Inn.
I will also update this message after I remember all the things I forgot to include.
Walker Family Reunion
The time is almost here so we thought we better get some information out to you.
Cabin information - everyone staying in the cabin needs to bring bedding for their beds (1 king, 4 queens, 3 twins & 1 fouton) Sleeping bags would probably be easiest.
The have cooking stuff but if you need something special for your meals, please bring the necessary utensils.
We have come up with some games but would like to have some more choices and also come fun crafts for the kids. Marie this is right up your alley isn't it. Would you mind thinking up a couple crafts for the kids to do?
